Comments: Now here's a great little race. Flat 5K with little wind and I've never seen snow on the road for this race. It's always great and I've been there the last three years. Always at or near a PR. Low cost ($7, $13 w/ long sleve T), low frills. Benefits the Colfax High XC team. There's usually only 45 attendees, so there are plenty of ribbons to go around (4 of 6 Blue Monkeys got one last time). They hand out jingle bells to put on your shoes (jing jong jing jong jing jong -- what could be cooler than that!) And some people dress up in hats or as elves. Feel free.
