There were all skill levels. There were people that were quite good (like the real members, and a few others that had played before) and then there were Monkeys that had NEVER been on the ice before. A few guys had never really been on ice skates before but had done a lot of roller blading and were very good!
The rest of us knew how to skate and did ok. Nobody got hurt, but a few did try. Rosie Blue Monkey (Francis) went down face first with a loud crack, but luckily she had her helmet on. I (Mullet) went down in a full spread eagle a couple of times and lost my stick a couple of other times. My personal favorite goes to Funkey (a.k.a Train Wreck) Blue Monkey, who should now be called "Self Check" because of how he threw himself at the wall when no one else was there. In his defense, he did save the puck!
